The podcast about paranormal activity

Meet the hosts

Lights On, Still Scared is a paranormal podcast for people who love being scared—but not alone. We talk about the unexplained, the eerie, and the stories that stay with you after the lights are on.

Meet Karen

Karen has had a lifelong interest in the paranormal, shaped by personal experiences she couldn’t easily explain. From an early age, she was aware of things others didn’t seem to notice — sensing energy, presence, and moments that felt just beyond the ordinary. These experiences sparked a lasting curiosity about the unseen world and how it connects to everyday life.

One of her earliest memories is learning to read tea leaves with her grandmother — a quiet, intuitive practice that encouraged her to trust her instincts. Although these abilities weren’t openly discussed in her family, Karen has come to understand that this sensitivity runs through both sides of her lineage.

After stepping away from these experiences for a time, they returned following the passing of her mother, culminating in a moment she could no longer ignore — seeing an old farmer walk through her garden and disappear from view.

Today, Karen is a working psychic medium, bringing personal experience, openness, and thoughtful curiosity to conversations about the paranormal.
